New Job
So as most of you know, I recently terminated my employment at CVAC. I may have even mentioned it in the last entry. For those of you who know me and read this, you know why, so I will not go into the specifics.
During the weeks leading up to and following my unemployment I did some serious soul searching to figure out what life had in store for me. I realized the one thing I loved as much (definitely not more than) as animals, was fashion. I always knew in the back of my mind that I wanted to be in business for myself, but somehow the thought always seemed too crazy to even process. With the support of Jason, I have come to realize this is not so crazy an idea. In fact, I have come to realize that I have a very great, and innovative idea for a business.
So for those of you who don’t know, I am currently in the process of starting my very own women’s clothing store! I hope to be open for business in the next few months. However, instead of taking on an actual building, Jason and I have decided to start with online sales, home parties, and some market night exposure. I know I am in serious need for a new place to shop, and talking with some of you, I have realized you all need a new place too. My store is named The Retreat because I want everyone who shops at my store to feel like they are on a vacation from other clothing stores.
I will be keeping everyone posted on the exact opening days, and let you know when the website will be up and running. Thank you to all who have been supportive so far, you guys don’t know how much your support really helps! I hope to see all of you soon at The Retreat!
