1 year of marriage
I honestly did not think that marriage would be as fun as it has turned out to be. I’m not saying there haven’t been moments where Jason and I get frustrated with each other, but those moments definitely do not outweigh the good ones. I can only hope that Jason and I will have many, many more years of wedded bliss! My biggest piece advice to all my friends and family (sisters;) that are not yet married, is to make sure you are marrying the right person for you. Date long enough to get to know the good and the not so good qualities about that person.
While dating Jason, I soon realized that he is a very sarcastic person and has a dry sense of humor. Not that he isn’t funny, it’s just we laugh at different things. Like I think it’s really funny when I see people fall (mean I know), while Jason thinks it’s funny when people feel really uncomfortable and akward (watch The Office). We have learned to see the humor where we might not have seen it before we knew each other. I think this is what marriage can do to a person’s life, make life twice as good as it was before.
