I did it!
Well the website for The Retreat is up, but customers will have to wait to purchase items until I get approval from the credit card company. Wow, what a learning process this is! I thought I was well prepared for the opening of the store, but everyday I learn something new. This experience has been exciting, and very scary. It’s scary to step out and do something that is out of your comfort zone (or out of your major). It really helps to have support and encouragement from the people I care about, I definitely could not have started this without those people. The store is so much fun because I get to see people really enjoying what I have to offer. I love clothes and I love fashion, so to be able to share that with people has been a very rewarding experience.
